FAQs
Who can help us identify a new location for our office and/or data center?
Choosing a site to relocate your business and/or data center is an important decision. The site you choose will impact your business for years to come. In choosing a site, you should develop a set of requirements. This could include power availability, number of employees to accommodate, parking availability, closeness to a freeway or major intersection, services in or near the facility such as restaurants, health club or daycare center, and the size of your data center. To help you identify the right site location, it is helpful to work with a real estate project manager. Real estate project managers typically are employed by full service commercial real estate firms. They work with realtors, leasing companies, architects, engineers, city building departments, general contractors, and in some cases subcontractors to secure a new site and design the build out of the physical space required for the company, including the space that is designated as the technology facility.
It is important in a transition of technology infrastructure to work along side the Real Estate project manager to ensure that the space build out is designed to meet the business needs of the organization. To facilitate this, ITtransitions ® works very closely with the real estate project manager to translate the needs of the organization into an effective space build out for the technology infrastructure.
